Built by People Who Know Axles

Our roots are in axle manufacturing. For years, our team has built thousands of trailer axles every month, with decades of hands-on experience behind every assembly. That manufacturing background matters—it means we understand tolerances, load ratings, fitment, and the small details that separate a good axle from a costly failure.

"Because of that experience, we’re able to help customers choose the right axle the first time—not just sell whatever’s on the shelf."

Axle Technical Guide

How do I determine the correct weight capacity for my trailer axle?
To determine capacity, divide your trailer's total Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) by the number of axles. For example, a 7,000 lbs trailer with tandem axles requires each axle to have a minimum capacity of 3,500 lbs.
What is hub face and how is it measured?
Hub face is the distance from the mounting surface of one wheel stud to the opposite side. It is the critical measurement for determining if an axle will fit your trailer width and provide proper wheel clearance.
What is the difference between a spring axle and a torsion axle?
Spring axles use traditional leaf springs and are more economical and easier to repair. Torsion axles use internal rubber cords for suspension, offering a smoother ride and lower deck height, but are harder to adjust.
Do you sell custom axles for unique configurations?
Yes, through our partnership with ProAxle, we can supply custom-configured axles. Contact us directly with your hub face and spring center dimensions for a professional quote.
How do I measure the spring center distance?
Measure the distance from the center of one leaf spring to the center of the other on the axle tube. This measurement is critical for ensuring the axle mounts correctly to your trailer frame.
Can I replace a single axle on a tandem-axle trailer?
While possible, it is recommended to replace both if the remaining axle shows signs of wear or if the new axle has different specifications, to ensure even load distribution.
