How do I know what bolt pattern I need for my hubs?

Bolt pattern is measured by the number of studs and the diameter of the circle they form. For example, "5 on 4.5" means 5 studs on a 4.5-inch diameter circle. It is essential to match your current wheels.

What is the difference between an idler hub and a brake drum?

An idler hub is used on axles that do not have brakes. A brake drum has an internal machined surface for brake shoes to make contact and stop the trailer.

How often should hub bearings be greased?

We recommend inspecting and repacking bearings every 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Using high-quality high-temperature grease is critical to preventing failure.

Do your brake drums come with bearings and seals?
